NDMA on the Move

DID YOU KNOW?

The NDMA provided internet service, and IP Phone systems to thousands of Guyanese in Hinterland, Poor and Remote Communities using our VSAT Technology. VSAT Stands For ‘Very Small Aperture Terminal’ and is a two-way ground station that transmits and receives data from satellites.

To date, the NDMA has installed 91 satellite dishes in communities across the country ranging from Akawini in the north to Masakenari in the south. The VSAT team liaises with our External partners and satellite operators to ensure the integrity of the satellite link whilst also resolving any issues that may arise.
