Employees of the NDMA participate in Breast Cancer Awareness Activities

Globally, October is recognised as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This year, employees of the National Data Management Authority (NDMA) participated in several activities aimed at raising awareness and providing support for those affected by Breast Cancer. Under the theme “TOGETHER WE RISE”, NDMA contributed to a fund-raising activity of the NDMA contributed to a fund-raising activity and donations were made to the Cancer Institute of Guyana (CIG). Our donations will be used at the discretion of the CIG to fully cover the costs of or subsidize screenings (such as mammograms and ultrasounds) or treatment (such as radiation and chemotherapy). Early detection can save lives!
