𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐎𝐌 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟑𝟎

𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐎𝐌 𝐂𝐲𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝟐𝟎𝟑𝟎

President of the Guyana and current Chairman of CARICOM, H.E. Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali’s urgent call to focus on cybersecurity is particularly well-timed as Guyana joins with the CARICOM Secretariat, other CARICOM Member and Associate Member States, and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to develop a CARICOM Cyber Resilience Strategy. This initiative received unanimous approval from the CARICOM Council on Trade and Economic Development (COTED) in 2019 in response to the growing cybersecurity threats faced by the Region.

National Data Management Authority, as the national focal for this project, today met with experts from the CARICOM Secretariat, USAID and Cambridge Global Advisors to discuss Guyana’s cybersecurity priorities, posture and challenges.
